Highlight

SnooCODE has been announced as Liberia’s official National Postal Digital Addressing System. This was announced at a press conference in Monrovia on Monday 11th of April 2022.

Background

A competitive tender was announced by Liberia’s Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications in January 2021, to which about 10 local and foreign companies responded, with SnooCODE emerging as the winner in late 2021

What does this mean for Liberia?

We are very excited and look forward to leveraging SnooCODE to better prepare the Liberian public for any pandemic, health emergency, or disaster, boost Liberian eCommerce and the economy in general, create jobs for the youth, and empower industrious Liberians to create jobs for themselves.

What happens next?

Large-scale public trials of the SnooCODE digital addressing system have begun in Monrovia, and other cities and towns will be notified when it is their turn to participate.

We are preparing for a national event in 2 or 3 months to launch the project to all the people of Liberia.

We will keep you updated!
